Need Ideas on a good mid size body for my 429 BBF?
Its in a 1977 f-150 we drag race it but we have had trouble with traction all year we have 31 inch sportsman slicks on it and have added over 200 lbs of weight and still no traction,we do half track burnouts,so we need to consider a swap into a body we can get to hook up. A lot of 60 model cars are out due to shock tower configurations,and many are the size of tug boats are we over looking a possible canidate?
The ’70 Torino would be a perfect fit, as well as the ’71-’73 Mustang, especially the coupe since it’s the lightest of the ’71-’73 ‘Stangs, plus the coupe would be cheap.
