Review of reviews FishFinder
You should learn a pager works before making a choice.
Sonar Use sonar technology to find fish or other solid object beneath the surface of the water. SONAR technology uses sound waves that are transmitted into the water. As Journey to the distance the sound wave increases in diameter, starting from and fan-shaped cone. The cone is expanding continuously in the waters deep, which continues to unfold from the point of origin. When the sound wave hits a solid mass that will echo to the transducer. The time difference between when the sound bounces off an object and its surroundings determine the shape and size. The echo appears on the screen the display and the approximate size, shape and depth of the object.
Your budget will probably be the second factor in their choice. In general, think about how much you love the perfect pass on a pager. Then multiply that number by two. This gives a more realistic budget to work.
Of course, the budget may not be the only consideration. There are six other important factors to help you make the best choice for you. Consider each following categories:
Depth
All fish finders are valued at a defined depth. In other words, it tells you how low the sound or sound waves reach is based on the efficiency of the intensity of the transmitted signal. But you should know that the depth cues are given ideal conditions, fresh water and clean, relatively clear, unless otherwise indicated. If are fishing in troubled waters or salt water, depth finder not be effective at the maximum value. As with Most other things, however, if you want a device that will penetrate into the deeper waters, the unit will cost more.
My recommendation is to purchase a tracking device that has a depth of at least 10 per cent more than you think you'll really need.
The transducer is included?
You should check the accessories included in your booking diligence before making your purchase. Some fish researchers come without transducer so that you need to check the included accessories before purchase. This will make a difference in the price of efficiency overall. There are two different types of transducers single frequency and dual frequency. It may require the other or both, depending on what and where you are fishing. For lakes and shallow coastal waters of a single frequency transducer works well. For the deep seawater and sea fishing, a dual-frequency transducer is recommended. This dual frequency transducer provides a second signal, the more often you watch the fish or objects within a small cone of deeper waters. For example, a locator 50 kHz frequency could have a cone of 4 degrees is in the background and provides a good view from below while a localizer frequency 200 kHz with a cone of 20 degrees could provide a good view of the body in shallow water. By buying the transducer you want to get good because they all produce the image on the screen, but who want to represent the bottom under the boat, hundreds of meters around.
The installation of the unit should be taken into account here. Another consideration is portability, I'm leaving on a boat or move from ship to ship. You also decide to fit the cross or pass through the hull for optimal clarity.
Several companies producers produce single frequency. Each of these units is best suited for use in a small boat. They are designed to be used in rivers, streams or lakes.
A transom unit is easier and less expensive to install. Transducers are available in two models of single frequency fishfinder double. A fast boat moves out of the water in the transom and the use of a mount.Clarity table is usually affected when their boat reached 10 knots.
Through hull transducers, however, are ideal for performance and clarity. However, it needs another hole in the bottom of the boat. And they are really only justified if you need to read the context of a very high speed.
My recommendation is to buy a headphone transducer through a dual-frequency only if you intend fish in deep water, either freshwater or saltwater.
For anyone who has a small fishing boat or go to very high speeds go with a portable device or a transom. The money you save will be better served by helping to fill the gas tank of his boat!
Energy
The golden rule, more power is better. In general, you will find less energy in the cheapest unit when everything is equal. However, power is the key to accuracy and clarity, it is she who determines the speed of sonar echoes (sound waves recovered), arriving at his unit.
After finding all the other factors being equal, I recommend buying the unit with the most advanced level of energy. In other words, units have everything you want and then compare the prices of all units to see who has the broadest measure high power.
SCREEN – Screen Resolution
Consider looking at various options for the screen. Displaying the sunlight you better with a color screen. In addition, the higher the resolution, the image you see on the screen.
We recommend that several research units in its price range and then choose one with the highest resolution and color display. 480×480 is ideal, but I will not go below 320×240.
DISPLAY – SIZE
Besides being able to be better when it comes to show the larger size is always better if the place you want to! So before you can actually determine the optimum screen size you mean, you need to measure the area where to install the device. This will give you the largest unit of the screen, you can buy. A larger screen will be the highest price, of course. However, the size of the screen is not everthing. A fish finder few really good have a 4 "screen.
Read reviews, but. . .
When reading reviews fish researchers a bit skeptical of exaggerated claims of results! It is not possible exams are written by someone that actually used all the different units and I can say one unit is the best deal. Instead, the writer discusses the work probably for the manufacturer of a tag in particular. The best thing is to look for differences in technical performance rather than praise. An example is Page eFishBox Fishfinder review. Make your choice depending on your needs and a solid understanding of the features you need, not someone who is paid to endorse a particular product.

motorboat ventilation?
I recently bought a small boat with outboard motor. It is a small boat with the battery and the portable gas tank in an area behind the seat that has a lid that can be opened for access to the battery or tank and also to store life jackets and things and then closed. Is it necessary to have a fan in this area? If the boat sits for a while, you can enter the gas ignited by a spark from the battery connection or wiring? It has an outboard motor. Be boats inboard engine must be evacuated not sure about this kind of situation? Thank you
It seems that the answer is yes, you do. Click on this link: This http://edocket.access.gpo.gov/cfr_2004/julqtr/pdf/33cfr183.610.pdf is a part of it. natural ventilation system. (A) Except for compartments open air, a natural ventilation system that meets the requirements of § 183,630 must be provided for each compartment of a ship that: (1) contains a gasoline engine installed on a permanent basis, (2) contains openings between it and a compartment ventilation required when the total area of openings exceeds 2 percent of the area between the compartments, except as provided in paragraph (c) of this section, (3) contain a fuel tank permanently installed and an electrical component is not flame retardant in accordance with § 183,410 (a), (4) contains a fuel tank vents in the compartment, or (5) contains a metal fuel tank, no: (i) With an overall patency rate exceeding 1.2 grams of fuel loss in 24 hours per cubic foot of volume Bay Net, or (ii) If the net compartment volume is less than one cubic foot, with a higher rate of permeability 1.2 grams of fuel loss within 24 hours. NOTE: Fuel referencia''C''to 40 degrees Celsius plus or minus 2 degrees Celsius between the ASTM D 471 (incorporated by reference, see § 183.5) will be used to determine the rate of permeability. (B) the opening of each tender § 183630 must be located on the outer surface of the vessel. (C) The housing compartment above a compartment requiring ventilation is separated from the passenger requiring ventilation by a bridge or other structure, except in subsection (a) (2) of this section. I think I can handle this with a "system of natural ventilation."

Promised Land [CD-ROM] Queensryche’s follow-up to the double-platinum Empire is something of an acquired taste, but it’s well worth the effort. There’s considerable variety here; the heavy progressive-rock of “I Am I” and the ballad “Bridge” were hit singles, but there’s also the funk-inflected “Disconnected”, the edgy, spooky “Lady Jane”, and the piano-and-vocals “Someone Else?”. The title track is probably the stronge… |
