Lake Sidney Lanier, most often simply called Lake Lanier is located in the northern part of Georgia. The lake was created from the development Buford Dam, and is supplied both the Chattahoochee River and the river that flows south along the mountains Chestatee Georgia north.

Wherever you stay, will not be disappointed with everything Lake Lanier has to offer, and like many of those visiting, you may need to seriously consider buying a house here and stay as a permanent resident, if not, still will not be disappointed your visit.
